Education

Seminole High School

August 2015 - May 2019

I attended Seminole High School and was enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. Throughout my time as a high school student, I was involved in various S.T.E.M. focused clubs such as Health Occupation Students of America and the Science National Honor Society. In addition, I conducted my own research for my program and wrote an extended essay analyzing George Orwell's 1984. I was involved in the Seminole Newspaper, which is linked below, and founded my own social media page dedicated to raising awareness about social injustices, Stronger in Unison. At the end of my high school career, I wrote a piece for the IBO, which is linked below, about my time as an IB student and my passion for advocacy.

August 2019 - December 2022

Since the beginning of freshman year as a pre-medical student and LEAD Scholar, I have been working hard not only towards my degree, but towards gaining enough experience to build a solid understanding of a profession in the medical field. In my freshman year, I continued to volunteer at Advent Health in the neonatal intensive care unit, where I had volunteered since senior year of high school.  I was engaged in various executive positions in student run organizations and was involved in research. Additionally, I took relevant courses such as anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, nutrition, and much more. In each activity, I devoted 100% of myself and left a positive impact on those I met.
